What is the difference between Cuckoo and BitTorrent, why more and more people are using Cuckoo?

Recently I found a software called Cuckoo from some friends. Currently, it is a decentralized video platform which will be free forever. Everything looks like YouTube.

Cuckoo initializes and connects to the remote node, and can watch the video smoothly. I am very curious about how this is done. This makes me think of BitTorrent, a classical download protocol.

Many people are familiar with BitTorrent. With the help of torrent files, people who downloads the same torrent file form a Swarm. The torrent is a list of content addresses, so there are some problems:

· You need to create your own torrent file, which is very troublesome for ordinary people.

· You must guarantee the sharing of torrent files

· Must specify the metadata of the torrent file

· You cannot specify the address by means of content addressing

· Cannot control the version of the content

Cuckoo is another solution. Cuckoo is different from BitTorrent. BitSwap sharing is not limited to torrent files. All nodes in the BitSwap data set can obtain existing data blocks on demand, without being restricted by the data block. A node can download one of the completely unrelated files. All nodes are participants in the data set.

In other words, Cuckoo only needs a content unique code to find the corresponding content. After being browsed, the content will be distributed to any node. The more people participate, the faster the content will be acquired.

This is a revolutionary innovation that makes me like this software, and I believe Cuckoo will bring a new experience unlike YouTube.
